I often get asked about changing market conditions. Since real estate is hyper-local, so much of it depends not only on the city you live in, but also in the neighborhood you live in. For example, a $600,000 house in Petaluma is much different than what the same price will buy you in Cloverdale and the same could be said about East Santa Rosa versus West Santa Rosa. Having said that, we are still experiencing multiple offers throughout many price ranges and areas. Supply simply isn't keeping up with demand. New construction is expected to help somewhat, but it likely won't be enough and it will take some time due to the development process. Those sellers who price their homes appropriately in the current market will often get a great result.
If you've thought about buying or selling real estate, just give me a call and we can discuss your specific circumstances.
